This project showcases Newland’s expertise in manufacturing, assembly, and testing complex equipment. For this project, we partnered with Ultonotec and Exploration Drill Masters (EDM) to manufacture the EDM MK-2 Rod Feeder, a sophisticated piece of machinery comprising over 500 individual components.

Challenges:

Our joint venture partner In Ultonotec, EDM, designed the EDM MK-2 Rod Feeder, a crucial piece of equipment for efficient drilling operations. The challenge was to procure, manufacture, assemble, and test a highly complex machine, ensuring each of the 500+ components met stringent quality standards and operated seamlessly together.
